Tirzah Mojica LCMHC, ASDCS
Tirzah is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist who is also an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist. She has been a therapist for over 13 years and has been working with children and families for over 16 years.
Tirzah began her career in South Florida as a Case Worker for the Department of Children and Family Services. She worked with a wide variety of families and individuals in this setting, providing care and outreach for families and children in need of resources. Once Tirzah graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University, she started her therapy career working with at risk youth and families in the community. It was in this setting where she found her passion with working with mothers and children in creative ways, breaking the barriers to treatment.
Once Tirzah moved to Utah, she transitioned to being a primary therapist and a Clinical Director in residential treatment for youth with early childhood trauma and Autism Spectrum Disorder. During her time in Residential Treatment, she continued to work in the private community based care with a focus on women’s issues and adolescents/children with anxiety, depression, learning difficulties, and who are on the Autism Spectrum.
A bit more personal
Tirzah is a wife and mother to four children. Her children are in all phases of life which helps her understand the stresses mother’s face as well as the phases of life each child goes through. Tirzah’s children are 16 years old, 12 years old, 4 years old, and 2 years old.
For a time, Tirzah was a single parent to her two oldest children. She moved from Florida to Utah on her own with no support outside of her family and close friends. Tirzah overcame many obstacles during this period of working full time and raising two young children on her own.
Tirzah married her husband in 2019 and now has two young children with her husband. Tirzah and her family have faced the difficulties of creating a blended family, however they have done so with honesty and transparency which has led to a healthy and happy family unit.
Tirzah’s passions are physical health and being physically active, off-roading, swimming, traveling, cooking, and expanding her knowledge of how to live a healthy lifestyle. Tirzah’s greatest passion is caring for her children and others whom she cares for.
